Delivery Instructions and Requirements

How we deliver

  • Delivery will be conducted in a Registered Meat Transport Vehicle (refrigerated) by trained staff.
  • Items will be delivered in food safe plastic bags from the refrigerated truck to your address.
  • Items will be placed in the customer’s chosen food safe area or container at accessible location (e.g. at front door, in esky/cooler bag) at the address specified in the online order.
  • Delivery window is 12pm-4pm – staff may contact the customer on the number provided on the online order form to let you know how far away they are.
  • Minimum delivery order is $100 with a delivery fee of $7.50.
  • Please note Siketa Meats does not take any responsibility for the items once they are delivered regarding security, or safe food handling.

Customer Responsibility

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure your delivery can be left in a suitable location. Delivery may not be a suitable option for secure buildings and apartment complexes.
  • Please note that there will be no contact between delivery staff and customer. Staff will NOT carry order into your home.
  • Please ensure delivery address allows safe access for our staff – NO pets, NO obstructions.
  • It is preferred if the customer is home to accept delivery. 
  • Once items are delivered to the address noted in the online order, it is the customer’s responsibility regarding appropriate storage and safe food handling or items. 

If Customer Not Home or Delivery Address is not Accessible

If you are not home to accept delivery there are two (2) options:

  • The order will be available for pick up from shop during normal business hours for 48 hours (delivery fee will not be refunded, re-delivery will not be offered).
  • OR 
  • The Customer selects the waiver “please leave product if customer not home”. If you select this option you will receive a text message once your order is delivered. 
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure your delivery can be left in a suitable location. Delivery may not be a suitable option for secure buildings and apartment complexes.
  • Please note Siketa Meats does not take any responsibility for the items once they are delivered regarding security, or safe food handling. Siketa Meats does not take responsibility if your products are stolen.
